One of the greatest gifts shared with the world was the birth of Adrian Wesley Brown. He was born on May 9th, 1979 at Hutzel Hospital located in Detroit, MI to his loving parents Thomas Brown, Jr and Debra Ann Dixon. As a child Adrian was full of life and energy. Those who knew him as child can still picture him on the porch enjoying his popsicle trying to avoid his chores.
He was educated in the Detroit Public School system, graduating from Osborn High School in 1997. Adrian continued his education through Focus Hope where he received a machinist certification. He was also invited into the engineering program as well. Adrian began his career at Noble Manufacturing in the late 1990s as an operator. He was dependable, hardworking, and considered one of the most reliable members of his Team. Adrian was also very generous and thoughtful towards family and friends alike.
Adrian enjoyed playing video games, watching anime films, and being around friends and family. His sense of humor was different, to say the least! Adrian also had a special talent for loving and caring for animals. I don’t think he ever came across a dog or cat that didn’t think that had found their forever home. Prime example his cat Taz. It takes a caring spirit like his to display love for all God’s creations. As an avid sports fan, his favorite teams were the Detroit Lions and Golden State Warriors. We could always depend on Big A to prepare the sports fan culinary dream to enjoy a good game, no matter how disappointing the team played.
On the morning of May 23, 2022, our beloved Adrian departed this life to be in the presence of the Lord. Preceding Adrian in death was his grandfather, Ira Dixon, Sr., grandmother, Lillie Bee Brown, his uncle Ira Dixon, Jr., and great aunt Gwendolyn Dees. He leaves behind his Mother Debra A. Dixon Brown and Father Thomas Brown, Jr. His brother Thomas Brown III, (Shirley Brown) and his sister Nicole Williams–Edwards (Terrance Edwards); Godmother, Audrey Faye Slappy and a host of aunts, uncles, nephew, and dear friends.
