Ronald Williams,Jr

With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Ronald Williams, Jr., known by most as “Smokey”, on Thursday, December 19, 2024 in Detroit, MI.  Born in Detroit, MI on August 22, 1965 to Ronald Williams, Sr. and Pearline Williams (who both preceded him in death), Ronald was the youngest of 10 children. He is survived by six siblings, Beverly, Nina, Willie Jr., Mary Ann, Darlene (William) and Brenda (Arthur); four children, Ronald, Raynard, Latasha and Anaya; 15 grandchildren, Raynard Jr., Erykah, DeShawn, Tania, Teaisha, Reginald, Shania, Sanaya, Shelby, Daequan, Raynieshia, Ariel, Kory, Kaliyha, Korrell and Kyjuan who preceded his death and a host of loving nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, extended family and friends.

Smokey’s life will be celebrated at Butler Funeral Home 12140 Morang Ave., Detroit MI 48224 on Saturday, December 28, 2024. The memorial service will begin at 3:00 pm. He will be dearly missed and his memory will be cherished forever.
