Doris Ward

Doris Lee Ward was born December 23,1941, to the union of Jewell and Earnestine Ward in Gurdon,Arkansas. She was the eldest of five siblings.

Doris migrated to Detroit,Michigan in 1949 with her parents and two siblings, Perry junior Ward and Amanda Ward. She attended Detroit Public Schools .  She worked as a Domestic Technician, where she was cherished by the family where she was employed for many years.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory; children, Earnestine Regina Flood-Mixon (Michael) and Deval Ward; granddaughters, LaShaniece Flood and Selena Alexander; great-grandchildren, Danielle Jarrett, Dejah Jarrett, Jermaine Billy,Jr., Da'niya Johnson, Da'lylah Bell,Cayden Stone, Emily Martin, and Emil Martin, III; Anita Ward, Junel Ward, and Rebecca Sutherland(Darren); sister-in-love, Jackie Ward(Perry Junior Ward); special buddy, Chauncey Stone; a host of nieces,nephews,cousins and friends.
