Angelette “Tony” Mauriel Kimbrough was born February 8, 1952 to the union of Lou La Mae Kimbrough and Wilbert
Bradley in Detroit, MI. Tony and his siblings grew up on Chene Street. He was educated within the Detroit Public School
System and recognized Christ early in his life. Tony met and married Earline Rivers, the love of his life. Together they
built a life and raised their beloved children in the city of Detroit. Tony worked was a construction worker until his
retirement.
Tony loved to talk with family and friends. He truly had the gift of gab and he would call it, like he saw it. He adored his
grandkids and they adored him, too. He and his wife got great enjoyment in being with them, as they were the light of
their life.
Tony was preceded in death by his late wife, Earline Kimbrough, daughter Ebony Nicole Kimbrough, grandson Malachi
Kimbrough, and brothers: W.L. Kimbrough, Larry Kimbrough, Dwight Kimbrough, and nephew Marvin Kimbrough. He is
survived by his daughter Angelette Marie Kimbrough, and son Robert Antonio Kimbrough (and wife Dawn Kimbrough),
daughter Erika Rivers, grandkids: Ebony Marie Matthews, Tanisha Deloris Johnson, Cali Kimbrough, and Jaiden, Alexis,
and Justice Rivers; and great grandkids MJ, Mair, Niyia; nephews Dewayne Kimbrough, Charles Kimbrough, nieces, Jessie
Katherine Kimbrough and Hope Kimbrough; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
