In Loving Memory of Aaron Williams-Mathis

With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Aaron Williams-Mathis, affectionately known as "Ace," 
on Monday, November 25, 2024, in Battle Creek, MI. Born on September 5, 1991, to Walter Williams 
and Denise Mathis, Aaron was the youngest of four siblings and a beloved son, brother, father, and 
friend.
He is survived by his father, Walter Williams; his mother, Denise Mathis-Brown (Vernon, who 
preceded his death); two brothers, Walter Mathis and Patrick Henry; and two sisters, Deniece Mathis 
and Alicia Mathis. Aaron leaves behind three cherished children, Malik Campbell, A’Keira 
Williams-Mathis, and Erianna Williams-Mathis, and a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and 
friends.
Aaron’s life will be celebrated at Butler Funeral Home, 12140 Morang Ave, Detroit, MI 48224, on 
Saturday, December 14, 2024. The memorial service will begin at 3:00 p.m. Aaron will be dearly 
missed by all who knew and loved him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and
