Dear Cowan Family,
I wanted to offer you my condolences at this difficult time. I am so sorry for your loss. The Bible calls death as the "last enemy". And rightfully so, since it causes so much pain. But the Bible also says that this enemy "is to be brought to nothing"! (1 Corinthians 15:36) There will be a time when no one will die! And also those who have died will be resurrected! (John 5:28,29) Imagine the time when these promises from God will be fulfilled. I hope these thoughts of hope from the scriptures will bring you some comfort in this time of need.
